Charlotte Slingo

Charlotte is a Wills & Probate Executive at SMR, based at our Selsey office, and specialises in Wills, LPA's, and Elderly Client Services.

Charlotte specialises in Private Client work and has been part of the local legal community since 2007. Over the course of her career, she has developed extensive experience supporting individuals and families with a wide range of matters, particularly those relating to Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Estate Administration. Since 2013, Charlotte has focused exclusively on Private Client law, allowing her to build deep expertise in this sensitive and rewarding area.

Charlotte began her legal career as a legal assistant, a role that provided her with valuable hands-on experience and a strong foundation in client care and legal processes. This early exposure inspired her to pursue formal legal qualification, and in 2022 she embarked on her CILEX journey. She is now an Associate Member of CILEX (ACILEX) and continues to work towards full qualification as a CILEX Lawyer.

Known for her approachable and compassionate manner, Charlotte takes pride in providing clear, practical, and empathetic guidance. She understands that many of her clients seek support during significant or challenging times in their lives, and she is dedicated to making the legal process as smooth and reassuring as possible. Charlotte values building long-term relationships with her clients, ensuring they feel informed, understood, and supported at every stage.

Alongside her client work, Charlotte is committed to continually developing her professional knowledge through ongoing study and practical experience in Private Client law. She strives to deliver a service that combines professionalism and expertise with genuine care and understanding.
