SMR Solicitors is delighted to be sponsoring an All Rise Workshop (@allriseworkshops) at Bersted Green Primary School this Thursday 22nd February 2024.
The children will experience an immersive legal workshop from All Rise Workshops packed with valuable lessons about our legal system, evidence collection, the complexities of presenting a case, crime scene analysis and constructing a legal argument.
All Rise Workshops is an educational business set up by former lawyer and Chichester teacher, James Stewart, to give young people a knowledge and understanding of the legal system, their rights and responsibilities and how they access justice.
James Stewart at All Rise Workshops is incredibly grateful to SMR Solicitors for sponsoring this workshop.
He said: “I know from my teaching experiences that many children leave school without any understanding of the law. That can significantly impact on their ability to access justice in later life.
“I also know that children as young as ten develop internal barriers that impact on their opportunities and choices as they grow up. With my workshops, I want children to learn about law in a fun and creative way. I want children to leave my workshops feeling empowered and believe that professions like the law are open to them.”
